Canada in the Age of Trump and Brexit</em> (2017). In 2023, University of Toronto Press will publish his chapter entitled “American Backlash, Canadian Compromise,” in the edited collection, <em>Canada and the United States: Differences that Count</em> (fifth edition).</p><p>	He holds an Honours B.A. in Political Studies from Queen's University (1969) and a M.A. in Sociology from the University of Toronto (1970).</p><p>	In 2009, he received an honorary Doctor of Letters from Ryerson University and in 2016, he was awarded the Order of Canada, the country’s highest domestic honour.</p><p>	 </p><p>	<!--break--></p>
